Illustrative and Decorative Content: Printed in red and black in double columns with red initials. Hand-colored illustrations. including a full-page woodcut of the crucifixion, half-page woodcut figuring Henry II, Holy Roman Emperor, and Cunigunde of Luxembourg pictured with Bamberg Cathedral and the coat of arms of Georg Schenk von Limpurg, 19 large historiated woodcut initials and a circular Agnus Dei.
Binding: Bound in contemporary South German, blind-stamped pigskin, boards with fillets and roll-stamp, spine with raised bands, metal clasps and catches.
Additional Details: Manuscript inscriptions in various hands, one by Felix Goetz, canon at St. Jakob in Bamberg, dated November 9, 1584. 7 additional leaves with manuscript liturgical music (3 at front, 4 at the end).
