Pennington United Methodist Church (Madison, Ga.) records
Pennington Church and cemetery were established in 1890 in Madison, GA by the Newton family, but the church was not built and dedicated until 1903. The church was initially named Pennington Methodist Episcopal Church and did not undergo any renovations until the early 1990s. A fellowship hall was built in 1994 and was utilized for a multitude of church events. Pennington Church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2023.
