Silver Creek United Methodist Church (Silver Creek, Ga.) records
Silver Creek UMC began in 1869 when three acres of land were donated to trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church. However, little is known about the church’s early history. In 1909, the church records were destroyed when a tornado struck the home of church secretary, M.J Roberts. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2023.
