African Missionary Postcard Collection

This collection contains three thousands postcards dating from the early to mid twentieth century (the bulk being from the 1930s). The images and photographs on the cards include villages, schools, churches, missions, and people. The collection acquired in 2007 has been scanned and made available on the Pitts Theology Library's Digital Image Archive (under call number MSS 353).

Abstract
Consists of roughly 3,000 individual postcards depicting early twentieth century Christian missionary activities in Africa.
